Optimum’s outage problems have been ongoing, and it’s disappointing. Customer support takes too long to respond, and technical support only provides temporary solutions. I contacted them through the Optimum phone number, but the service reliability still hasn’t improved.

Constantly raise prices and refuse to cancel account when requested. I paid all the bills on time, when the time came that I no longer needed their services, they refused to cancel my plan. I called and spoke with multiple people who ended the call no matter how polite I was. The service provider feels like a complete scam.

I am totally disappointed with Optimum service. My cable freezes at least twice every night, forcing me to restart my TV and miss parts of whatever I’m watching. Every time I contact support, I’m taken through the same useless routine of unplugging and restarting equipment, and nothing ever gets fixed. On top of that, the price keeps increasing while the service gets worse. I’m now actively looking for a new provider because this experience has been beyond frustrating.

I recently had an awful experience with Optimum’s customer service. I called to cancel my internet service while keeping my TV, and after spending over an hour on the phone, nothing was properly resolved. I later discovered I was still being charged for the internet. When I called back to request a credit, I got nowhere. On top of that, the price I was promised for my remaining cable service turned out to be false. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
