I tried removing McAfee from my computer, but it left behind numerous files that I had to manually delete. Some programs even reported conflicts because of the leftover McAfee components. Contacting support didn’t help much—they were slow and gave instructions that didn’t solve the issue. The uninstallation process should be simple for a product like this, but it’s anything but. Very frustrating.

McAfee has been really frustrating. Even though I have a 3-device plan, I keep getting pop-ups pushing me to upgrade to McAfee Plus. I’ve contacted support multiple times, but they gave vague responses and even disconnected my calls. It’s stressful dealing with software that interrupts my work while offering no real help. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone looking for reliable antivirus protection.

I’ve used McAfee for several years, and while the software works reasonably well, the renewal and billing process is extremely frustrating. Prices jump unexpectedly, autopay triggers even when it’s supposed to be off, and I’ve been double-charged multiple times. Support gave me a different program, removed McAfee from my PC, yet I was still billed. Dealing with fraud alerts and disputing charges has been exhausting. Every renewal feels like harassment, and the process is unnecessarily stressful and confusing.

McAfee’s false positives are getting out of hand. Essential files for work are being blocked, and I can’t trust it to differentiate between safe and harmful software. Support is slow to respond, and the constant interruptions make daily use frustrating.

The scan speed on McAfee is painfully slow, often freezing halfway. It consumes too much system power and affects other tasks. Contacted customer service, but their troubleshooting didn’t fix anything. The support team seems robotic, not understanding real problems.
