Connected to WiāFi, but no Internet
My D-Link router often shows that Iām connected to Wi-Fi, but thereās no internet access at all. Iāve had to restart it multiple times a day just to get basic browsing working. Streaming and video calls are almost impossible because the connection randomly drops. Customer support gave generic advice that didnāt solve the issue. For a router at this price, I expected much more reliability. Very frustrating experience.

Performance & Speed Issues
My experience with this D-Link router has been nothing but frustrating. The internet speed constantly drops without warning, even when only one or two devices are connected. Simple tasks like video calls and streaming become impossible due to sudden lag and buffering. The router also takes a long time to stabilize after powering on. I contacted customer support multiple times, but the solutions provided never fixed the problem. For a brand that claims reliability, this has been a very disappointing experience.

Router Setup & Configuration Issues
Configuring my D-Link router felt like guesswork. Important settings like port forwarding and parental controls were hard to locate and didnāt work properly once enabled. Every small change required a reboot, and sometimes the router wouldnāt reconnect at all. Support couldnāt explain why the settings kept resetting.

MyDLink Home service discontinued
I regret ever investing in D-Link products. Over time, I purchased multiple devices including security cameras, motion sensors, and remote sirens, spending well over ā¬1000 through Amazon. All of these devices suddenly became completely useless after D-Link decided to shut down its MyDLink Home cloud service. Overnight, perfectly functional hardware turned into electronic waste. There was no fair solution, no replacement support, and no real warning. This decision not only caused a major financial loss but also added unnecessary electronic junk to the environment. Extremely disappointing and irresponsible.
